The Nice Place Foundation Academy welcomes girls and young women eager to pursue education.
The courses serve as a starting point for further learning and as a pathway to college or other higher education. The Academy courses establish a strong network of Nice Place Alumni who serve as advocates. A Nice Place Ambassador can lead and advocate for issues affecting them and their communities.
The curriculum covers four courses (Leadership, Advocacy, Coding, and Personal Development) taught over three years of study and is designed to introduce skills that encourage ongoing learning and potential job opportunities.
Needling, agriculture, coding, writing workshops, and blue-collar skills like plumbing, carpentry, and electrical training, amongst others, are offered as extracurriculars.
