Nice Place Foundation caters to 150 girls annually. One hundred girls undergo the three-year programme while in boarding school. During school holidays, they come to the centre and go through the curriculum. The other 50 girls who do not attend boarding school participate in a full-time version of the curriculum over ten months.
Selection Criteria
The girls are selected in three ways:
- Gone through Alternative Rites of Passage (ARP) and selected as Miss ARP in their community
- Gone through the Nice Place Foundation Rescue Centre and meet the criteria
- Applied to join the Nice Place Foundation and have been selected by the Community Advisory Council
The Community Advisory Council makes the final decision.
