Nice Place Foundation in partnership with the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and Kaloito festival is hosting a football tournament to mark 16 days of activism against gender based violence at the Christ the King Grounds in Kimana.

The tournament which is dubbed the Nice Super Cup started on Saturday 26th November and will run through to Saturday 10th December.

The theme of the tournament is Unite! To end GBV against women and Girls.

According to UN Women, the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day. The campaign was started by activists at the inauguration of the Women’s Global Leadership Institute in 1991.
